We are Jupiter, a 2D animation studio based in Spain and Chile that offers its production services of short cartoon pieces such as spots, trailers, intros and gameplays.

Development Team

We are a multidisciplinary work team that starts in 2017 with the production of the animated series for Cartoon Network L.A. "Las Aventuras de Ogú, Mampato y Rena", based on the original comic by the famous Chilean cartoonist, Themo Lobos.

Currently we have started to push our new project "La Saga del Sur", an animated adventure series featuring ancestral creatures, brave warriors, steampunk machines and giant robots. A fantasy inspired by ancient tales and legends of Chile and the Wallmapu.

Project

The South Saga

"The South Saga" is a 2D animation project that starts in 2022 with the idea of becoming a series.

That year we started making a dossier and a demo-teaser from the work of almost 10 years before! This led us to create "Jupiter Studio" (Santiago de Chile - Barcelona) and to partner with the first production company, "El Médano Producciones" (Madrid).

In the short term, “MGC” (Canarias) and “Orlok Films” (Euskadi) were added. From these alliances and thanks to the sponsorship of ICEX Spain, the opportunity to participate in MIFA 2023 (Annecy) was born.

There we had the opportunity to show the intro that we had been working on a few months before and we received very positive feedback! This push has motivated us to continue advancing in creating more pre-production content and adding people to our team of artists, animators, musicians, producers, etc.
